Open Position — Marketing Specialist

This position is ideal for someone who wants to explore the ins and outs of everything digital marketing. As a marketing specialist, you will be part of the daily execution of various projects. There are many parts to digital marketing at Spot Violet you will learn and practice SEO, Email Marketing, Social Advertising, Copy Writing, Product Marketing, and more. This position is part-time with an opportunity of becoming full-time. This position does not include benefits.

Marketing Specialist Job Responsibilities:

  • Helps execute marketing strategy by monitoring performance, competition, and critical success factors.

  • Contributes to marketing effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed.

  • Provides information and commentary pertinent to deliberations, recommends options and courses of action, and implements directives.

  • Maintains relations with customers by organizing and developing specific customer-relations programs 

  • Influences present and future products by determining and evaluating current and future trends.

  • Maintains business listings, email marketing lists, and audiences. Provides social media executions, feedback, and new ideas

  • A weekly one-hour meeting with the assigned client where you will be responsible for updating the client on the progress of tasks/projects.

  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

    Marketing Specialist Qualifications / Skills:

  • Creating and maintaining client relationships

  • Self-motivated yet customer-focused

  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis (or willing to learn)

  • Strong work ethic

  • Experience with marketing computer software, online applications like canva, figma, google docs, Mailchimp, website platforms (or willing to learn)

  • Extensive knowledge of business social media best practices and platforms

  • Data entry and computer skills a must

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Flexible work schedule

  • Willingness to learn on the job and share experiences with other members of the team

Open Position — Chief of Administrative Affairs

Spot Violet’s Chief of Personal Affairs, helps manage daily schedules and other administrative tasks. Our Chief of Personal Affairs works side-by-side with our senior-level executives to ensure their calendar is up to date and their organizational goals are met. You may also be responsible for assisting with personal tasks like scheduling doctor’s appointments, or handling other family-related matters on top of coordinating administrative tasks for the organization. This position is part-time with an opportunity of becoming full-time. This position does not include benefits.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Meeting Support for coordination and bookings

  • Daily Calendar Management (Monday - Friday), includes drafting meeting agendas and sending out meeting invites, coordinating with people to schedule time for meetings, and handle changes

  • Attend select meetings with me to take notes & meeting minutes, send out actions and notes to team

  • Track schedule, contact people and organizations on my behalf to get information and/or processes transactions

  • Timesheet tracking - Track timesheet items and log on my behalf

  • Travel and Expense Management - Book travel and complete expense reports

  • Invoice & Bill Management - Send invoices, pay bills on my behalf and follow up with clients and vendors on payments

Qualifications

  • Must be well organized and task-oriented

  • Must be comfortable dealing with business executives and high profile clients

  • Must be proficient in word processors (docs or word) and email
